Comprehensive yet compact course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps;
100% attendance and participation; 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.
Certification
3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A or C, and AED
Recertification
Standard First Aid: 6.5–7.5 hours; includes CPR Level A or C and AED; adheres to local legislation
Blended Standard First Aid: 4 hours online learning, 3-4 hours teaching time

Shelly has been in the Fitness Industry for 30 years and teaching CPR/1st Aid since 2003. Her approach is practical. No one likes long drawn out courses but, I like to have fun and engaging. She’s also practical. So, If everyone understands the material, we move right along to the next subject. It makes for a great time saver!
The course is exclusive to STG coaches and limited to 6 participants. Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
